Really pleased to have finally wrapped up this experimental project, Inktober 2015 documents my undertaking of the eponymous drawing challenge back in 2015.
Yep, you read that correctly - this one really has taken me two years to produce, but in my defense it's not just a collection of drawings. but more of an exploration of the whole act of creating work that is out of your comfort zone, and meeting self imposed deadlines.
Partly a documentary with a hint of the surreal and a form of diary this project is a rather personal take on what I hope many creators may identify with -insecurities, life balance and the ever adjusting ratio between an artists's sense of technical achievement versus self expression.
If that does sound a little heavy, there are also plenty drawings of funny looking pigs, dogs, children and a giraffe astronaut called Paropoles.
